Following the recent relaxation of restrictions allowing sports massage and sports therapy services to resume we are delighted to report that similarly, the practical training linked to many of our courses has also successfully restarted.

All students attending practical training with us in the future will be required to conform with our Working Practise Covid-19 Policy which has been implemented utilising all practicable steps to safeguard the well-being of all our students and staff, as well as preventing the spread of the virus. This Policy and Self-Declaration form will be made available to students shortly before attending our practical training.

We are in close contact with our awarding body Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) and will continue to conform with their current educational criteria ensuring our students will be eligible for their chosen award upon successfully completing our course.

Exercise Advice & Assisted Stretching
for Sports Massage Therapists

 
The science and practical application of exercise interventions for strength and flexibility...

The aim of this course is to help you understand the science of training and to be able to offer appropriate guidance to clients to help improve both muscle strength and length whilst returning to fitness according to specific client needs. The course will blend the underpinning theory and practical application of assisted stretching and strength exercises to all major muscle groups.
 

> Entry Requirements


This course has been formed to complement and enhance the skills of a sports massage therapist but may be equally beneficial to other people working or participating in sport, such as coaches, trainers, first aiders and others.

Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and be physically able to participate. The course is suitable for sports-care practitioners, first-aiders, runners, etc.

To join our Exercise Advice and Assisted Stretching Course you must be over 18 years old, physically able to do the work and have good communication skills. All course handouts will be provided to help you during the practical training.
 

> Course Fees

 
The fee is £120 including V.A.T. at the current rate, and you may claim 8 credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
 
For anyone enrolled upon, or about to enrol on our Level 3 VTCT Sports Massage Diploma Course who would like to add this to their existing training, you will be entitled to our Loyalty Discount being a reduction of 25% from the above course fee.

If you are already a student of our full Level 3 or Level 4 Sports Massage courses you will be entitled to a discount of 25% as part of our Customer Loyalty Discount Scheme.
